"The Institute is concerned above all for the educational needs of the poor as they strive to become aware of their dignity and to live and to be recognized as human beings and children of God." - Rule:11
The educational policies of Lasallian institutions are centered on young, adapted to the times in which they live, and designed to prepare them to take their place in society. These institutions are characterized by the determination to make the means of salvation available to young people through a quality education and by an explicit proclamation of Jesus Christ. We, the De La Salle Brothers of the Delegation of India commit ourselves to fulfill the mission of the Institute by promoting values
Worldwide, we are dedicated to "Poverty Alleviation / Eradication", in whatever forms this malaise may manifest itself Economic, Social, Spiritual, Emotional --- for as it is given : " I have Come, so that All may have Life, Life in Abundance ". (Jn. 10:10).

We exercise our preferential option for the poor, the oppressed and the marginalized.We earnestly involve ourselves in the promotion of Justice and Human dignity through the educational service we provide. We strive to form the youth to prepare themselves to take their right place in Society.
Challenges abound, but the Brothers through their network in 90 nations with 1 lakh+ students, 3,000 institutions and 5,000 confreres, seek to make the dream of our Founder -St. John Baptist de la Salle a reality. Thus our apostolate is vividly spelt out, "Service to the Poor, through Education ".
